Are you eligible?
If you served at least one day of federal active duty in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines or Coast Guard during the dates shown below, and were honorably discharged or are still serving honorably, you are elible for membership in The American Legion:
December 7, 1941-December 31, 1946
June 25,1950-January 31, 1955
February 28, 1961-May 7, 1975
August 24,1982-July 31, 1984
December 20,1989-January 31, 1990
August 2,1990-current
